Chapter 163: Something Evil Has Entered

I had such a wonderful sleep. It felt as if I were nestled in Gu Yuan's arms, utterly at ease. It was just a simple slumber, with no other thoughts.

I would have slept longer if it weren't for the jolting sensation. I lazily rubbed my eyes and saw a vast expanse of scarlet before me.

I was stunned for a couple of seconds, then rubbed my eyes again and looked around. I found that my body was immersed in bright red blood. The scalding blood bubbled and green gas rose from it.

Bloodied hands of various sizes kept emerging and submerging in the blood pool, trying to drag me under.

"Ah..." I sat up abruptly, breaking out in a cold sweat.

My classmates around me were startled and all looked at me.

I gasped for breath. Seeing my classmates there, I finally came to my senses. It was just a dream.

Jun He beside me frowned tightly. His black eyes flashed with pain, as if he had experienced something unhappy. But this look disappeared in an instant, and the next second his expression changed.

"Are you coming back from the dead? You scared me."

A Yin turned to look at me, then immediately got up from her seat and walked to Jun He.

"Classmate, would you mind changing seats with me?" She was very polite. Her eyes always stayed on me, filled with worry.

Jun He saw that A Yin was worried about me. Without saying anything more, he stood up and changed seats with her.

I swallowed hard and looked at the classmates around me. As Jun He left, those classmates also turned their heads and no longer looked at me.

"Did you have a nightmare?" A Yin asked me in a low voice.

I wiped the cold sweat off my forehead and nodded slightly.

A Yin whispered again, "Did you dream that you were in a blood pool, right?"

I didn't expect A Yin to know what I had dreamed.

"How do you know?"

"I told you, I can see things that others can't."

I originally thought his eyes were just yin-yang eyes, but I didn't expect he could also peek into dreams.

"And then?" I shifted my stiff body slightly and continued to ask.

"This dream was created by him. But it seems he just wanted you to see it. He has no ill intentions." A Yin looked at Jun He and said.

"He has no ill intentions towards me."

I stole a glance at Jun He and lowered my voice to the softest level and continued, "But he has ill intentions towards everyone on the bus. He just told me that if I don't go with him, he will kill everyone on the bus."

"You're not going with him now, and we're all fine. Maybe he was just scaring you."

"What about the blood pool?" I asked A Yin.

A Yin shook her head and just said that she was also sleeping just now, so she could connect with my dream. She dreamed that I was lying in the blood pool, as if something was being refined.

Before she could see clearly, my dream ended.

"You can ask him directly. It's obvious that he cares a lot about you." A Yin's voice was very gentle, as if she was afraid that speaking loudly would scare me.

I looked up at Jun He sitting not far away. Fine. Since he wanted to talk, I'd let him tell me everything.

The bus drove for a while longer. It was already evening when we arrived at the Snow Village.

At this moment, the village was brightly lit. The colorful lights illuminated the entire ice and snow kingdom.

Big red lanterns were hanging on the small earth houses covered with snow. Each house looked like the ones in Chinese New Year paintings, full of local flavor.

These mushroom-shaped houses had two rooms on the east and west sides. Each room could accommodate four people.

When the tour guide was allocating rooms, A Yin and I were in the same room. No one else was willing to share a room with us.

Finally, Jun He volunteered to take the room card next to ours.

This was good. It served two purposes. It was better for three people to share a room than for eight people to crowd together. Moreover, with Jun He under my nose, I could feel more at ease. At least I could know his every move.

Demons were unpredictable. I was really afraid that he would fly into a rage and kill everyone on the bus.

"Tour guide, why do we have to share a room with four people while they only have two? This is so unfair!"

Wang Siqi walked out of the crowd, followed by a group of tall and powerful boys. They looked very intimidating.

"Well, what do you want? Do you want to share a room with them?" Before the tour guide could say anything, Jun He stood up for us. From the moment we got on the bus, Jun He had looked down on Wang Siqi's picky attitude.

"Who wants to share a room with that jinx? Anyway, I'm not going to share a room with four people. I'll apply for a room by myself. I don't mind paying extra."

Hearing this, the tour guide, seeing the potential for more commission, immediately said enthusiastically, "Sure, sure. I'll go and apply for it for you."

After the tour guide settled everything, he took Wang Siqi and her group to apply for the room.

A Yin and I were about to go and get our suitcases when we turned around and found that Jun He had already taken them into the room.

The room had a very rural flavor. It was similar to the bungalows in my hometown. There were small square windows on both the north and south sides. Since it was cold in winter in the north, the windows were not very big. But it didn't prevent the sunlight from coming in.

There was a kang on the north side. It was already very warm. As soon as we entered the room, we could feel the "warmth" of the room.

Relieved of my weariness, I lay down on the kang directly and closed my eyes to enjoy the warmth of the kang.

A Yin packed up simply and specially poured me a glass of water and put it on the kang table.

I told her to take a rest too. She obediently sat on the kang and buried her hands in the bedding.

"A Yin, can you tell what kind of person he is?" I nodded my chin, referring to the person in the next room.

"He has a great background. Moreover, he has a pure demon body, but he has drunk the water from the Yaochi Pond. Being half immortal and half demon is the most terrifying."

"Girl, aren't you afraid of being reduced to ashes for prying into others' identities?"

As soon as A Yin finished speaking, Jun He pushed the door open and walked in without even knocking.

A Yin was so scared that she immediately shut up and didn't dare to say another word.

"Do you have something to do?" I asked.

"Not really. I just want to discuss the itinerary for the next few days with you."

This guy just wouldn't let it go.

"A Yin and I will be fine on our own. You can do whatever you want. You don't have to be with us." I really didn't want to stir up more trouble with Yan Lin. After all, Tian Peng and she had been husband and wife for a few nights.

If he always hung around with me with this face, I might be open and aboveboard, but I couldn't stand the gossips from others.

"No. I have to follow you." He was not willing to back down.

"If you want to come with us, can you change your face?"

Jun He curled his lips and said, "No. I like this face. The purpose is to piss off your fake friend. Once she's dead, I can take her back to the Demon Realm and play with her slowly."

"Don't act recklessly. If you really take a fancy to someone, you have to get their consent. You can't just kill someone casually."

Jun He snorted, "I said you're blind, and I'm not wrong at all. You fell in love with a brute and now you're trying to matchmake for me. Do you want me to treat your eye disease?"

With that, he tried to turn my head.

"Get out of the way." I frowned and slapped his hand away.

Just then, all the lights outside the Snow Village suddenly went out. It seemed that there was a power outage.

Our room was the only one with light in the whole place. It was pitch black outside.

Jun He seemed to sense something strange. He grabbed A Yin's and my wrists and jumped onto the kang.

He looked up and extinguished the light in our room. The three of us were then plunged into darkness.

Jun He held my wrist tightly, as if he was afraid that I would disappear in an instant. His hand was incredibly cold, even colder than Gu Yuan's.

I instinctively tried to pull my hand back, but he held it tightly.

"Don't move. Something evil has entered."
