Xu Tingyu stepped out of the bathroom and immediately spotted Qi Shifeng sitting on the edge of the bed.
His open collar, dazed and innocent eyes, expectant expression, and clingy voice were all an enthusiastic invitation.
"Darling, you're finally out. You haven't even kissed me today," he said, his eyes fixed on her, burning with passion as if he could incinerate her in the next second.
Xu Tingyu paused in the middle of drying her hair.

Perhaps noticing her silence, Qi Shifeng started to look aggrieved.
"Didn't we sign an agreement? You're supposed to kiss me every morning and night. How come you're not keeping your promise and pretending to be clueless?"

So she just let out a soft snort. "I'm not pretending. I just don't want to keep my promise because you're being disobedient. I told you to go to sleep, but you refused and went against me."
"So I don't want to kiss you. Besides, you didn't take good care of Youyou. I'm a bit mad at you, so I definitely don't want to kiss you."
Qi Shifeng's outstretched hand was still hanging in mid - air, and his expression froze.
If her gaze hadn't been completely averted from him, he might have thought she was softening towards him.

She took one last look at the man and then walked out of the master bedroom without looking back, ignoring his shouts behind her.

Thinking of this, Xu Tingyu quickened her pace. After entering the children's room, she even locked the door.
Youyou was sleeping soundly and was completely unaware of her arrival.
